Join the People's March for the NHS event: Tredegar

Following the hugely successful 300 mile 'People's March for the NHS' from Jarrow to London, 2014, the People's March team are launching a series of events across the country in the lead up to the general election in May.

The first event is this Sunday in Tredegar, Wales, the proud birthplace of Nye Bevan, founder of the NHS.

We'll gather at the Town Clock at The Circle at 12 midday, then walk 15 minutes to the bandstand at Bedwellty House for 1pm. There'll be speeches from people including local actor and director, Michael Sheen, and former striking miner, Mel Hepworth. The afternoon will then be filled with West End performances, films, workshops, children's activities, Welsh cakes and a BBQ!
